Towns and areas worth a visit

Glottertal

A resort and wine-producing village in the Southern Black Forest, known for the "Schwarzwaldklinik" (28 km).

Donaueschingen

This is home to the source of the Donau (Danube) (34 km) with its karst spring dating back to 1875 in the grounds of the Fürstlich Fürstenbergischen Schlosspark.

Freiburg im Breisgau

A historic old town featuring the legendary "Freiburger Bächle" (Freiburg drainage gulleys), weekly market and long shopping street (35 km).
